Flag of the Kingdom of Ireland (House of Stuart)

POD: King James II was courageous enough to defend the Emerald Isle and defeated the Williamite soldiers in the Battle of Boyne, established a Stuart monarchy in Ireland and maintained a "cold war" with Britain (actually, they have a secret respect of the "status quo") until late 18th century (1789, to be exact).

This flag was based on the 1698 flag of the Berwick Regiment, one of the Irish Brigades in the French Army. 

I removed the wavy red saltire while I added the classical Irish coat of arms. No crown, though.
